MAGGIE ANDERSON MAKES THIRD-TEAM ALL-OHIO

COVINGTON – Covington junior standout Maggie Anderson was selected Third-Team All-Ohio in Division IV basketball due to an outstanding junior season.

Anderson scored 341 points on the season for a 13.6 average points-per-game and was also chosen First-Team in the Three Rivers Conference. Maggie now has 912 career points through three seasons and has one season left in her high school career.

Additionally, Anderson accumulated 145 rebounds for a 5.8 average per-game, 25 assists and 37 steals on the season.

Throughout the season Anderson converted on 77 of 87 free throws to set a new school record for the highest free throw percentage in a season at 88.5%. She also set a new school record of the most consecutive free throws made with 36, breaking the previous record of 26 consecutive free throws set 44 years ago by legendary Judy Miller, a member of the Covington Athletic Hall of Fame.
