ANNA – The Covington cross country teams competed at the Anna Invitational on Saturday and the girls (204 points) finished 7th out of 17 teams, while the boys (262 points) finished 11th out of 19 teams.

Asher Long won the boys race consisting of 287 runners. He finished in the time of 15:38.90.

Johanna Welborn finished ninth in the girls race consisting of 175 runners. Welborn’s time was 20:17.83.
