WEST MILTON – Covington defeated Milton Union in TRC volleyball action Wednesday evening in four sets 25-20, 15-25, 25-11, 25-13.

The Lady Buccs started out strong in the first set, but struggled in the second set, which gave Milton some momentum on its home floor.

The momentum shifted quickly in the third set where Covington began to dominate the action by outscoring the Bulldogs 25-11. The Lady Buccs finished strong in the deciding fourth set with a 25-13 victory.

With the win Covington’s record is now 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the TRC. 

Covington’s JV squad remains undefeated with a 25-15, 25-7 win. Their record is now 6-0 (4-0).

The Buccs travel to Russia on Saturday morning for a non-league contest.
