BUCCS OPEN SEASON WITH STRONG PERFORMANCE

AUGUST 3, 2023 – GREENVILLE
The Covington Buccaneers put together a solid performance to open the season by taking third out of thirteen teams in the Greenville Invitational at Turtle Creek Golf Course on Thursday.

Troy won the tournament with a team score of 318 and Tipp City finished in 330 strokes, while Covington finished with a score of 344.

Matt Dieperink led the Buccaneers by carding a 79 in 18 holes, which was tied for the fourth best score in the tournament. Dieperink recorded a 41 in the first nine holes and a 38 in the last nine.

Cameron Haines finished with an 84, while Sam Grabeman finished with a score of 90.

Bryson Hite, Connor Humphrey and Brodie Manson all turned in a score of 91.
