BROOKVILLE – After falling to Russia on Saturday in the season opener, Covington bounced back into the win column on the road Tuesday night at Brookville High School.

Covington defeated Brookville 25-13, 25-18, 25-17 to improve its overall record to 1-1.

Covington’s junior varsity squad gave first year coach Kaylee Foster her first win as a Buccaneer. Scores were 25-22, 25-21 – overall record is 1-1.

Play at Anna on Monday and at Troy Christian next Tuesday.

Covington Junior High hosted Houston – 7th grade lost 0-2 and 8th grade won 2-0. They play at Troy Christian this Thursday.
