BRANDT – It wasn’t a typical performance by Covington, but the Buccaneers managed to do just enough to edge Bethel in yet another big TRC contest on Tuesday.

Finishing around ten strokes below their season average, Covington was able to remain unbeaten at 10-0 in the TRC with a 183-186 win over the Bees.

Bryson Hite and Matt Dieperink led Covington with a score of 45, while Sam Grabeman carded a 47 and Cameron Haines turned in a score of 47. Hunter Ray tallied a 49 and Connor Humphrey rounded out the scoring with a 52 on a par 35 course at Homestead.

The win gives Covington a three match lead with two regular season league contests left against Miami East and Bethel on the home course at Echo Hills before taking part in the TRC Championships on September 22nd.
